THE AVERAGE PRICES:
These average prices are based on using mostly in season premium flowers with middle price range
such as roses, hydrangea etc. You may expect lower prices if you substitute some of your
premium flowers for less expensive options such as carnations, daisies or add greenery to enhance
fullness. Like wise, if you choose flowers that are more expensive per stem, such as mini-calla
lilies you should expect to exceed these averages.
You should expect your flower budget to be approximately 6%-8% of your total wedding budget.
For example, if your budget is $25,000 (the average wedding in the U.S.) then your flower budget is
$1,500 - $2,000. Keep in mind you may need to adjust this to closer to 10% if you are picking rare,
out of season varieties or flowers that exceed $10-12.00 per stem retail.
